AAS injection-induced infections

There is nothing worse than having to abort an AAS cycle due to an infected injection site. It can not only ruin a cycle, but it can cost you a whole limb or even your life if you don’t get it under control as quickly as possible.

There have been many cases of men who had to get one of their legs AMPUTATED as a result of an injection-induced infection spreading throughout the whole limb. That is not a situation you want to find yourself in.

In this article, we will be taking a look at the potential causes of an injection-induced infection and how to neutralize it before it becomes a serious issue.

REASON #1 – CONTAMINATED NEEDLE

The number one reason why bodybuilders get infections is they are pinning gear with non-sterile needles. Believe it or not, many men RE-USE needles to inject AAS, something that is absolutely stupid and incredibly dangerous.

As you probably know, you should use a brand NEW, sterile needle for every single injection you execute and ALWAYS dispose of a needle after it has been used.

Another thing worth noting is that even a new needle can be contaminated if the cap is removed and the needle is left uncovered for a while and/or if it touches a contaminated surface such as a table, your fingers, etc…

For that reason, you should never touch the needle before using it, and you should keep it protected with its cap until the very moment of the injection.

If you are using the same needle to draw the oil from the vial and to execute the injection, be sure to clean the vial’s rubber topper with an alcohol wipe prior to perforating it with the needle.

Additionally, be sure to disinfect the patch of skin you wish to inject into with an alcohol wipe before performing the shot, as the bacteria in your skin could leak into the injection site itself and cause an infection.

REASON #2 – CONTAMINATED AAS SOLUTION

The second reason why some bodybuilders experience infections is they got low quality, contaminated AAS from their source which causes infection due to it containing bacteria and other impurities.

Low-quality underground labs brew their AAS in less-than-ideal hygienic conditions, so it is possible for your AAS vial(s) to be contaminated if it comes from a random, unestablished source.

If you stick to pharmaceutical-grade AAS, it is practically impossible for it to be the cause of an infection (it would most likely be Reason #1 if it happened).

If you are using a trusted, well-established company like Steroidify, the chance that you will get an infection due to your AAS vial(s) being contaminated is practically non-existent.

HOW TO DEAL WITH AN INFECTION

The most common sign of an infection is redness and swelling at the injection site. The area may feel warm to the touch, and there may be pain or tenderness. The skin around the injection site may become inflamed and may feel tight or stretched. In most cases, these infections are dealt with by your own immune system, but if they do not subsist after a couple of days you will need to take matters into your own hands.

As the infection progresses, it may spread beyond the injection site, causing fever, chills, and fatigue. The lymph nodes near the injection site may become swollen and tender.

If the infection spreads to the bloodstream, it can cause sepsis, a life-threatening condition that can cause fever, rapid heartbeat, low blood pressure, and confusion.

In some cases, the infection may even cause abscesses or boils to form at the injection site. These are pockets of pus that can be painful and may need to be drained by a healthcare professional.

If you suspect that you have an infection from anabolic steroid injections, you should see a doctor immediately. Sure, you can take antibiotics on your own, but getting help from a professional who can determine the best possible treatment is KEY when dealing with something as potentially dangerous as an injection-induced infection.

To recap, prevention is the best medicine. If you use sterile needles at all times, practice safe injections and get your AAS from a reliable source like Steroidify, chances are you will never find yourself having to deal with an infection.
