3 peptides you’ve never heard of

3 peptides you’ve never heard of

Did you know that there are thousands of peptides out there that we haven’t discovered yet?

In fact, only about 15 to 20 peptides are commonly used in Bodybuilding, and today I want to talk about 3 promising peptides that I believe will soon become available and grow in popularity among bodybuilders for their incredible health benefits.

Cardiogen

Cardiogen is a peptide that has been shown to reduce fibroblast formation in the heart. This helps prevent cardiac remodeling, meaning that Cardiogen may be effective at preventing the cardiac hypertrophy associated with long-term AAS use.

Cardiac hypertrophy is one of the leading causes of premature death among enhanced bodybuilders, and I believe that a peptide like Cardiogen may prevent or at least delay these deaths by protecting the heart.

Cardiogen has also been found to promote apoptosis (death) of cancer cells and to decrease the chances of prostate cancer development (something that affects nearly all men if they live long enough).

B7-33

B7-33 is a novel synthetic peptide that is derived from a naturally occurring peptide known as H2-Relaxin. This peptide appears to have an anti-fibrotic effect, meaning that it reduces fibrosis in the heart, liver, kidneys & other organs.

This can be incredibly useful to enhanced bodybuilders as it can help prevent/repair the long-term damage that AAS and other PEDs can deal to the aforementioned organs.

Liver fibrosis is the natural consequence of repeatedly exposing the liver to toxic agents like oral AAS over time, and not many drugs are able to reverse this phenomenon.

This peptide is similar to Cardiogen in that it also reduces fibroblast formation in the heart, meaning that it may also be an effective tool against the cardiac remodeling caused by long-term AAS use.

Testagen

Testagen is a fascinating peptide that can increase both Testosterone and Thyroid hormone levels. It does so through direct action on the pituitary gland (where it stimulates the production of LH & FSH which cause the testicles to produce more Testosterone &  sperm), and by indirectly stimulating the thyroid gland to produce more TSH (which leads to higher T3 & T4 levels).

I personally see this peptide becoming a useful tool in a PCT context not just after SARM & AAS cycles, but also after Thyroid hormone cycles since it also appears to kickstart the endogenous production of TSH (something that using exogenous thyroid hormones suppresses).

Testagen also appears to be able to interact with DNA to improve immune function, and there is some evidence to suggest that it can also prevent blood clotting.

I hope you found this post interesting. As I said before, there are thousands of peptides with incredible properties that are slowly being discovered and developed, so the future of enhanced bodybuilding & anti-aging is very bright!

William Davis

William has been studying and experimenting with bodybuilding pharmacology for over 6 years. After being an independent researcher for all these years, he has decided to share his knowledge with the bodybuilding community through his science-based articles. His approach to enhanced bodybuilding can be summed up in the saying “less is more”, as he believes that prioritizing harm mitigation and looking for ways to maximize the positives is the key to longevity in bodybuilding.
