Can you get taller with HGH?
As you probably know, Human Growth Hormone is prescribed to teenagers who suffer from delayed growth to stimulate their growth and increase height, bone density, muscle mass & more.
However, what not everyone knows is that even regular short people who did not suffer from delayed growth could have been able to become taller by using HGH or one of its secretagogues when they were teenagers.
And I say “when they were teenagers” because increasing one’s height without surgery in the early 20s is incredibly rare and unlikely to happen (let alone any age beyond that). This is due to the growth plates fusing in the late teens. Once that occurs, further growth becomes practically impossible.
However, the possibility is still there because some people’s plates don’t fuse until the early 20s. I have seen cases of people in that age range who managed to gain ½ inch to an inch after using HGH or GH secretagogues for 3 to 6 months.
But before I delve into how to try and do that, there’s three things you need to understand…
The first one is that this post should in no way be seen as an encouragement to go ahead and try what I’m about to explain. I am merely presenting information. What you do with it is your own responsibility.
Secondly, I would actively advise any teenager reading this from attempting to grow taller with HGH or one of its secretagogues. Even though it would probably work, your extremities, hands, feet, nose, jaw and other parts of your body would become disproportionately big.
Thirdly, if you are in your early 20s and you decide to give this a shot, keep your expectations low. You will probably not see a significant difference, and if you do it won’t be enough to take you from 5 feet 5 to 6 feet. Expect gains of 1, maybe 2 inches if you are really lucky.
How to get taller with HGH
If you have the wherewithal to get high quality HGH, you may want to use it instead of a secretagogue so that you can get the best possible results with the least amount of side-effects possible.
Start at 2iu a day for 4 weeks, then 4iu a day for 4 weeks, then 6iu a day for up to 4 more months. There is no reason to extend this beyond 6 months because if you don’t see any changes by that point, you never will. Take 500mg of Berberine before every meal including a significant amount of carbs (pasta, rice, a bunch of bread, oats, etc…) to keep your blood glucose in check.
Besides HGH you will need something that can delay growth plate fusion (assuming that they are still open and haven’t fused yet). Estradiol is known to cause growth plate fusion, so taking an aromatase inhibitor can delay this phenomenon.
Take 0.25mg of Anastrozole (Arimidex) twice a week (every 3 to 4 days) or 6.25mg of Exemestane (Aromasin) every other day to keep your estrogen down for up to 6 months together with the HGH.
I would advise against using Testosterone or any other compound that can directly or indirectly increase estradiol levels while attempting to get taller (that includes Enclomiphene, DHEA, 4-Andro, Dianabol, Trestolone & more).
DISCLAIMER: Using an AI to decrease your estrogen will not be fun. Your joints won’t feel as lubricated, your sex drive will decrease significantly, you will feel less motivated and your mood won’t be ideal, but it is necessary in order to try and get taller.
How to get taller with GH secretagogues
If you can’t get your hands on actual HGH, GH secretagogues are the next best thing. The results won’t be as good, but you will most definitely see a difference if your growth plates are still open.
The only 2 secretagogues I would opt for are MK-677 and CJC-1295 (pick one) because all the other ones have incredibly short half-lives.
If you go for MK-677, take 15mg a day for up to 6 months at a time.
You will also need to use an AI as indicated in the previous section on HGH, and you will need to take 100mg of P5P a day to keep your prolactin under control, along with 500mg of Berberine before every meal including a significant amount of carbs to keep your blood glucose under control.
If you decide to use CJC-1295, start at 0.5mg a week for 4 weeks and increase the dose to 1mg a week for the remaining 5 months if you tolerate it well.
You have to inject it subcutaneously once a week, and you will also need to follow the AI instructions in the HGH section to keep your estradiol down.
CJC-1295 does not increase prolactin like MK-677 does, but you will still have to take 500mg of Berberine before every meal including a significant amount of carbs to keep your blood glucose from skyrocketing.
This is basically it when it comes to attempting to grow taller. You don’t need anything else other than to eat a healthy diet and a calorie surplus. It probably won’t work if you are in your early 20s or older, but in the worst case scenario you will still put on some solid muscle.
