PEG-MGF: The ultimate anabolic peptide

MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) is a peptide hormone that is closely related to IGF-1 (Insulin-Like Growth Factor 1). MGF is naturally occurring in the human body, where it plays an important role in the development of children and teenagers. However, it continues to be important in adults because it promotes the proliferation of muscle stem cells to grow and repair muscle tissue in response to physical exertion.

MGF can be administered exogenously to improve muscular development, so it can be considered a PED. It is not very popular because it has typically been hard to find, but with more companies starting to offer it and more content about it being created, I have no doubt that it will become a staple of bodybuilding chemistry in the next few years because it builds muscle through a unique pathway that most bodybuilders seem to neglect.

Benefits of MGF

There is very little anecdotal (or scientific) information about the positive effects of MGF when used in a performance-enhancing context. However, here’s a general idea of what to expect:

  • Insane muscle pumps.
  • Increased muscle mass.
  • Increased strength.
  • Faster recovery.
  • Healing of tendons / ligaments, potentially of any other kind of injury too.

Many users report that using PEG-MGF allowed them to develop lagging body parts with ease without causing any serious side-effects.

According to preclinical studies, MGF has neuroprotective effects, so it can slow down cognitive decline and possibly prevent neurodegenerative disease like dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Side-effects of MGF

Given the lack of information on MGF, it isn’t clear what its side-effects are. According to anecdotal reports, MGF is very safe and only seems to cause some hypoglycemia if carb intake is low (I believe that this may not be accurate, and that the people who experienced this were sold a regular GHRP peptide instead of actual MGF).

I also think it would be safe to assume that MGF can grow certain organs and body parts if abused for long periods of time due to its similarities with IGF-1.

All in all, short-term MGF use appears to be quite safe as it does not cause any of the side-effects most muscle-building PEDs are known for.

How to use MGF

There are two types of MGF on the market: PEG-MGF and regular MGF. The latter is rumored to have a very short half-life of just a few minutes, and it is believed to only act locally (wherever injected).

PEG-MGF (PEGylated MGF), on the other hand, has a much longer half-life (possibly around 2 days) and it is believed to act systemically regardless of where it’s injected. PEG-MGF is clearly superior to regular MGF, so I don’t think the latter is worth using (plus it’s harder to find).

A good PEG-MGF protocol would consist in administering 250 to 500mcg about 4 hours before a workout. It can be injected subcutaneously but injecting it intramuscularly with an insulin needle would also work.

In terms of cycle length, it can probably be used continuously for long periods of time without causing serious issues, but given how little we know about it (in comparison to other PEDs) I would err on the side of caution and keep cycle length at 8 weeks max.

Needless to say, PEG-MGF needs to be reconstituted with BAC water (or sterile water) and stored in the fridge to keep it from degrading.

In conclusion, PEG-MGF is a powerful peptide hormone that promotes muscle growth through an entirely different mechanism of action to Anabolic Steroids. Its localized effects may allow both recreational and professional bodybuilders to improve their lagging muscle groups and achieve a bigger physique without compromising their endogenous hormone production and short-term organ health.

William has been studying and experimenting with bodybuilding pharmacology for over 6 years. After being an independent researcher for all these years, he has decided to share his knowledge with the bodybuilding community through his science-based articles. His approach to enhanced bodybuilding can be summed up in the saying “less is more”, as he believes that prioritizing harm mitigation and looking for ways to maximize the positives is the key to longevity in bodybuilding.
