Rauwolscine: the ultimate solution for love handles?
Yohimbine is a potent fat-burning agent that is known for 3 things: Being extremely effective at reducing stubborn fat, improving libido significantly and causing terrible fever-like symptoms in most users.
Rauwolscine (alpha-yohimbine) is an isomer of Yohimbine that is slowly gaining popularity as a cleaner, safer yet more effective alternative to its parent compound. It appears to offer the same benefits without causing the same dreadful side-effects.
Let’s dive into it!
What does Rauwolscine do?
Like Yohimbine, Rauwolscine will block alpha-2 adrenoceptors and increase norepinephrine levels. Besides that, it will block 2a and 2b serotonin receptors while agonizing 1a serotonin receptors.
Unlike Yohimbine, Rauwolscine will NOT block alpha-1 adrenoceptors (so it is more selective), hence its milder side-effect profile.
Rauwolscine is a CNS stimulator that will increase heart rate and blood pressure, while lowering blood sugar levels and facilitating the use of stored fat as a source of energy.
The benefits of Rauwolscine as a PED
Here’s what you can expect from it:
- Rauwolscine will burn fat by increasing heart rate and energy expenditure.
- Rauwolscine will facilitate the loss of stubborn fat by blocking alpha-2 adrenoceptors.
- Rauwolscine will increase energy and focus.
- Rauwolscine will improve memory and information retention.
- Rauwolscine will lower blood sugar levels and fight insulin resistance.
- Rauwolscine will improve libido and erectile function (to a lesser extent than yohimbine, anecdotally).
The side-effects of Rauwolscine
When I say that Rauwolscine is cleaner than Yohimbine, what I mean is that it is less likely to cause the anxiety, stress and feverish feeling that Yohimbine is known for. However, it can still cause those side-effects to a lesser extent, as well as the following adverse effects:
- Rauwolscine will increase heart rate and blood pressure.
- Rauwolscine will increase body temperature and sweating.
- Rauwolscine may cause insomnia.
- Rauwolscine may cause nausea and headaches.
Keep in mind that Rauwolscine is not as well-researched as other fat-burners, but it would be safe to assume that it can also have a serious effect on heart health in the long run.
Rauwolscine protocol for bodybuilders
Take Rauwolscine after waking up and before fasted morning cardio. You should be using 3mg/day for the first two weeks, then increase to 6mg/day during weeks 3 & 4, and finally go up to 9mg/day during weeks 5 & 6.
If you take short breaks in between, you can remain on lower doses for long periods of time, but you will miss out on fat-burning potential.
Its actual half-life is unknown but it’s definitely short, so you can offset the side-effects by doing cardio, drinking a lot of water and using compounds like Nebivolol, Telmisartan or Tadalafil to keep blood pressure and heart rate in check.
Even though Rauwolscine is less nasty than Yohimbine, it’s still a serious stimulant that beginners should stay away from. Don’t use it if you are not lean already.
The selling point of Rauwolscine is that it can burn stubborn fat, so use it towards the end of your cutting cycles when it’s needed the most.
